About Us
The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) is the national organisation responsible for the promotion and development of Croatian tourism. Our goal is to strengthen the identity of Croatia as a tourist destination at the domestic and global levels, and we focus on raising the quality of the tourism offer and promoting sustainable, authentic and year-round tourism.
Tourist Board System
Tourist boards are organisations outside the state administration system and public law bodies that operate according to the principle of destination management and are established to promote and develop the tourism of the Republic of Croatia and the economic interests of legal and natural persons who provide hospitality and tourism services or perform other activities directly related to tourism by managing the destination at the level for which they are established.
The tourist board system, organised according to the destination management organisation model, consists of local tourist boards established for one or more units of local self-government, islands, rivieras or similar units, regional tourist boards established for one or more units of regional self-government, the Zagreb Tourist Board for the area of the City of Zagreb and the Croatian National Tourist Board for the area of the Republic of Croatia.
